I have shot suppressed AR-15's at carbine classes and I have done a couple long range classes with my suppressed AR-10 and none of them missed a beat. IMHO adjustable gas blocks are a work around, if the rifle is built properly from the beginning, to be shoot suppressed, you should not need one.

For some reason I have not had gas blow back in the face problems in either my suppressed 21" AR10 or 10.5" 5.56 SBR. Mine dump's all the crap through mag well. An Adams Arms piston kit on the SBR helped a little but not much. AAC Cyclone screw on for the AR 10 and M4-2000 QD on 5.56. I'm a southpaw for whatever that's worth.
